Boldly Teaching the Bible
Living Word Bible Church (LWBC) exists to boldly and unapologetically teach the whole counsel of God’s Word as contained in the Scriptures. This is accomplished through consistent study of the Word of God.
LWBC is a church located in Will County for all Chicagoland. LWBC was planted in June 2021 by a core team of believers from Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

Location and Service Times
LWBC is located at 10901 W La Porte Rd in Mokena, Illinois. Our service times are Sunday mornings, starting at 9:30 am and Thursday evenings, starting at 7:00 pm. We would be honored for you to come and visit!

Lead Pastor
OUR PASTOR: Ryan J. Silhavy, a native of Chicagoland, became the pastor of Living Word Bible Church in June 2021, planting the church alongside a core team of believers. Prior to becoming a pastor, he received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, and spent several years working in project management at a large public accounting firm. He has received seminary training from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and is currently enrolled at Chafer Theological Seminary, where he will complete a master’s degree.
Ryan’s pastorate is dedicated to teaching the whole counsel of God’s word for the edification of the saints, for the ultimate glory of God. He lives in New Lenox with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children.
